The gospel of God’s grace
God’s grace means the gift of “unmerited favor” in Jesus Christ
it means God is offering you something you could never
provide for yourself, forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
For by grace are ye saved, through faith;
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God —
Not of works, lest any man should boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9
The blood of Jesus atones for sin, His resurrection seals our pardon.
Salvation is an act of God offered freely to all people through faith
in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. A person is saved
and receives a new birth by believing in the gospel truth that God’s Son
Jesus Christ, became flesh, went to the cross, shed His blood,
and died for our sins and that God raised Jesus from the dead.
True believers fully understand what Christ has done for them.
Herein is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. – John 4:10
Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life;
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
Will you decide to believe in Jesus and accept him as your Savior?
If the Spirit of God has awakened your heart to the gospel of God’s grace,
to see your sin for what it is, then you have been enabled by him to repent
of your sin and call out for His mercy and believe in Jesus as your Savior.
If you have never placed your hope in God through faith in His Son, Jesus
Christ, you need to make that decision. That is where life begins!
Faith in Jesus Christ
“O God, I am a sinner: I’m sorry for my sin. I want to turn from
my sin. I believe Jesus Christ is your Son; I believe He died on the
cross for my sin and You raised him to life. So right now, as best
as I know how, I choose to accept Your Son Jesus as my Savior,
trusting only in His shed blood as sufficient to save my soul and
to take me to heaven. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul.
If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation then the most
important thing for you to do is to get to know Him. The real issue is
knowing Jesus Christ. Jesus is the One who said, “I am come that they
may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
