Lindsey, a nurse in a dermatology office, had a discussion with a patient in regards to health and the patient mentioned the fact that the Bible says that it is appointed for man to die once but after this the judgment.
Lindsey was asked about her destiny after this life and if she believed in God and she said: “Yes, I believe in God.” She was then asked what she would say to God if she stood before him, on her judgment day, and was asked by God; why she should be admitted into heaven. Lindsey responded by saying: “I’m not sure what I would say but I always try my best.”
Lindsey was asked if the Bible truth about heaven could be shared with her and she agreed to listen. God’s Word from Ephesians 2:8-9 was shared with Lindsey to address a person trying their best to get to heaven by their own good works, then Lindsey listened as the the gospel of God’s grace was shard with her.
Lindsey began to cry and as she wiped tears from her eyes she said: “I feel goose bumps all over after hearing this, I have never known this.” It was said to Lindsey that what she is feeling is the truth of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit working in her heart. Lindsey was very thankful for our conversation and she was encouraged to get right with God.
Would you take 30 seconds to pray for Lindsey.
